What is "FIMO"
Thinly sliced clay molded over a ceramic base produces a truly unique and modern look. After a pattern is chose, the clay is dyed in appropriate colors. The colored clay is hand rolled into thin rounds and the various colored rounds are placed together to created the desired pattern. Once the image is built, it is thinly sliced, molded onto the barrel shapped ceramic piece and fired. This process makes each piece unique in design - an original each and every time. All pieces have a 6" 18K gold plate over solid brass chain and connector. The Fimo pieces are 2" tall, 1 1/2" in diameter and 2" high. In this catalog, all FIMO pieces are shown with a light blue backround. They are available as fan and light pulls, lamp finials and vertical blind pulls. |
